My munchkin has lost her 1st tooth!!!!

Miss M's tooth came out this evening while we were at Target after visiting my Dad at the hospital. She was having great fun that constantly wiggling her loose tooth was grossing me out. (There are reasons why I did not go into the medical profession!) Next thing I know, her tooth was out! She was bleeding, but luckily I had some tissues. She is quite proud of herself and is excited that the Tooth Fairy is coming tonight. Thank goodness she likes the idea of losing her teeth because pulling them out is not appealing to me.

Presenting Cristina Liliana Nicole

This is Maddie's newest cousin. Cristina was born on December 6th. I have not finished all of the editing, just the bare essentials to make the Christmas deadline. I will post more as I get them done. She is such a good baby and was sooo good to work with. This is one of the versions. Congrats Pete & Rita!

Grace Miller Elementary's 2008 Holiday Program

Maddie's teacher took this pic. Each of the kids posed with the hippo. One of the songs they sang for the program was, "All I want for Christmas is a Hippopotamus for Christmas."

Crazy Hair Day

Maddie participated in her school's Walk-a-Thon, which is also Crazy Hair Day. Maddie's hair was sprayed different colors. She walked 20 laps to raise funds for her school. Thank you to all who sponsored Maddie to enable her to raise funds for her schools' extra-curricular activities, like Family Fun Night, the birthday book program, etc. It means a lot to us!

We had a cool surprise that morning. As Maddie was getting her hair sprayed in the driveway, a large flock of parrots were flying from tree to tree right next to our home. It was sooooo cool! They were such a pretty green color.

My Little Soccer Star!

Maddie has been doing just a fabulous job this season!!!! Her defensive skills are unstoppable! During one game she shut the offense down when we were down 3 players (7 vs 4)! She has also had 2 hat-tricks (hat-trick = scoring 3 goals in one game!) Go Maddie!!!!!
